About
Charlie Tupper
His Story
He Knows What It Feels Like to Lose Yourself.
Charlie Tupper knows how easily survival can become a way of life. After experiencing severe childhood abuse and spending decades in a relationship marked by criticism, belittling, and emotional harm, he lost touch with his own voice, confidence, and sense of self. Recognizing those patterns also meant confronting his own anger, reactions, and responsibility for what came next.
Leaving that relationship in 2014 was one step. Learning to live differently took longer. Charlie began seeking help in 2017 and started the work of understanding his experiences, taking responsibility for his choices, and building healthier relationships. His marriage to Terrina has become an important part of that continuing journey, grounded in friendship, respect, and commitment.
A U.S. Army Desert Storm veteran, longtime entrepreneur, and community leader, Charlie founded Courageous Warrior LLC to bring together coaching, speaking, education, and advocacy. His work addresses personal growth, resilience, healthier relationships, and recognizing harmful patterns. Through speaking and workshops, he brings these conversations to individuals, organizations, and communities.
In his men's coaching, Charlie works with men who want to rebuild confidence, strengthen boundaries, communicate more clearly, and take greater responsibility for their responses and decisions. Some are navigating difficult marriages. Others are rebuilding after loss, separation, or years of putting themselves last. The goal is to support each man in becoming more grounded, clear, and intentional as he works toward becoming the best version of himself.
Through the Unshakable Vows Marriage and Premarital programs, his work also supports couples preparing for marriage or strengthening the relationship they already share. Across these offerings, the purpose remains consistent: stronger people, stronger relationships, and choices rooted in respect and responsibility.
Training & Background
How He Is Qualified to Do This Work
Coaching provides education, reflection, and support for personal growth. It is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or crisis care.
His Approach
What Charlie Believes About Men and Change
Recognition Before Change
Most men already know something is wrong. The first step is simply getting honest about what they're actually experiencing — without minimizing it or explaining it away.
Self-Leadership First
You cannot control anyone else. The work is always about what YOU choose to do — your voice, your responses, your limits. That is where your power actually lives.
No Predetermined Outcomes
Charlie doesn't tell men to leave or stay. He helps them get clear enough to make their own informed decisions from a place of strength, not desperation.
Trauma-Informed, Not Theoretical
His coaching is rooted in trauma-informed practice and grounded in your real life — not generic frameworks or advice designed for someone else's situation.
